Via Taxis: Taxis are the most popular mode of transportation in Dubai. You can catch a taxi in public places anywhere in Dubai or book in advance. An online booking and reservation service is available. Women who feel uncomfortable or unsafe with male drivers can book so-called “pink taxis” with female drivers. To book a taxi from any pick up point of your choice call 04 208 0808 (24hrs, operated in Arabic and English). At the Exhibition Venue, there are 2 taxi drop-offs: opposite Ibis Hotel and in front of Za-abeel Hall entrance. Taxi pick-up point is located opposite Ibis Hotel. Note that at the peak periods there will be queues, and a taxi-sharing system is likely to be in operation.
Via Dubai Buses: An alternative to taxis are buses. Dubai’s bus services connect different residential, industrial and business districts. Passengers can also make use of night buses and inter-emirates buses. Only recently, Dubai has established air-conditioned bus stops to make waiting for the bus more comfortable for commuters.
Via Dubai Metro: RTA has been operating two different metro lines in Dubai, the red line and the green line. Those two lines take very different routes and stop at different destinations, offering people an alternative to the car. Passengers pay their fares by purchasing a ticket, the Nol card.
From Dubai International Airport (Zone 5, Line Red) - This station serves Dubai International Airport’s main terminal, which is used by all the major airlines. Located on Airport Road, runs directly southeast from Dubai City Centre on the east side of The Creek.
Car parking facilities area available on the Red Line at Rashidiya (2700 Spaces) and Nakheel Harbour & Towers (3000 spaces) and on the Green Line Etisalat (3000 car park spaces).

Via Water Taxi and Abras: To travel on water or to cross the creek, you can use abras, traditional wooden boats with motors. They can be chartered for cruising along the creek for 60 AED per hour. Commuters, however, often use water buses, operated by the RTA marine agency. There are four different routes for commuters at 2 AED to 5 AED per person. Payment is made via the Nol card as well.
Water taxis connect many different locations, such as Deira Old Souk or Jebel Ali Golf resort, running from 10:00 to 22:00. Passengers have to book rides with the water taxi in advance by calling RTA or via their hotel service staff. The price is agreed upon when the passenger makes the booking.
Via Car: If you’re travelling by car, there is direct access from the city’s main highway and skyscraper corridor, Sheikh Zayed Road – giving you a direct gateway to all areas of Dubai and the wider UAE. Within the DWTC complex, take advantage of our extensive multi-storey parking facilities for around 5,000 cars.
